Hello MJ Fans,
First, on behalf of the staff, we would like to wish you all a happy and blessed New Year. With a new year comes a fresh start for all of us, both in our own lives and as a community here at MJJI. The staff has worked hard to present our members with some new features and activities for 2012. Starting sometime in this month of January, our official, year round event of Michael Mania will begin.
So, what is Michael Mania? Michael Mania is the celebration of all things Michael, and we have a lot of activities, competitions and prizes that will be presented to our members during this all-year occassion.
Our activities, competitions and MJ-Giveaways will be distributed according to an “era” of Michael that will be celebrated each month, starting with the most recent era: This Is It.
Prepare yourself for the following, and get involved with the fun!:
Era Madness
Banner created for a specific era that will be celebrated each month
MJ trivia for each era, fun facts, games, chat room events, threads, media, etc.
Surprise Deals
Icon added to forum block on random days, presenting a surprise deal such as downloads, youtube videos, coupon codes (poster revolution, etc.) , doll giveaways, etc.
Who Is It?
MJJI’s official mystery game.
2-3 members will be randomly chosen as the suspects for each game. Other members who choose to participate will be presented with a thread of clues that will lead them to a particular post of one of the said suspects. The post of the guilty member will include the missing item. i.e., The Stolen Gold Pants. An icon of these gold pants will be found in a member’s/suspect’s post. Once the missing item has been found, the case will be solved, and the member who solved the case will receive a prize.
MJJI Movie Nights
Members will come together on a said date on U-Stream and watch videos, concerts, etc. while chatting.
Giveaways
Happens every 2-3 months. A poster, MJ 4-Pin pack, T-Shirt, DVD, CD etc, will be given away.
Holiday Bashes
A fun forum competition, chat event and layout created for a holiday.
Arcade Tournaments
Tournaments held in our arcade room. Top player will receive a special Arcade Champion badge.
Collection of the Month
Gives members a chance to show off their MJ merch collection and be showcased on our home page.
Fan Fic Fridays
Fan fic lovers vote for their favorite stories, reviewers, etc. A fan fic of the week will be chosen.
Random writers will be chosen to do an interview on what inspired them to write their story, etc.

Making changes for the New Year
MJJ Invincible is wanting to reach a higher level of popularity. We have decided to provide our members with some new forum features that will hopefully keep them entertained, and lure potential members in. These features as of now are still in the making, but one current feature that has been added is our official chat room! (link to chat room)
We also want to keep our members updated on the latest topics pertaining to news about Michael and/or the Jackson family, merchandise deals, what’s happening within our community, and more! All of this information will be provided in our MJJI Virtual Newsletters.

Therefor, we take this opportunity to ask you what you think so far of our plans for the new year, and if you have any suggestions on how we can improve. Use this thread to state your opinions or give suggestions. Anything you would like to see added? Please state so.
